Vintage Shopping in Melbourne
Melbourne is a veritable vintage wonderland with pockets of treasure hidden all over the city. Here is where you will find a list of my favourite haunts and some of the highlights of their wares. It is by no means an exhaustive list as there are new things happening all the time. If you have a store you would like to see listed here, email me the details so I can come in for a visit. (Please note – I do not accept paid placement for listings here. The only way to appear on the list is to have a great selection and win my vintage heart!)
Every store listed here is one that I have visited and shopped with, so you can rest assured that they have passed my criteria for carrying actual vintage wares.

I love all of these shops! If you are traveling down to the peninsula be sure to check out the broadway bazaar in Rosebud. It is a wonderful and filled with treasures! the address is 1017 point nepean road, rose bud. It is a lovely day trip just opposite the beach and right near cafes and the art deco cinema.
You wouldn’t believe what I found nestled in the inner western suburbs, an absoloute gem of a vintage store. Diamond Dog Vintage, (115 Chalres Street, Seddon). Bathers!!! Loads of them, an eclectic collection of clothes, tops, skirts and awesome shoes all genuine vintage, she is yet to hike up prices like you see in the city or south of the river, go and have a look, its the wests best kept secret (or was).
…also if taking a day trip to the Dandenongs there seems to be an increase in Vintage shops too, making it a little “destination”! The pick of the crop though is Walk in Wardrobe Vintage in Belgrave….clothes, shoes and now retro homewares…and good prices too!
