Daily Outfit – Unseasonable Christmas Cashmere
So on Monday it was unseasonably cold again and I had to break out my vintage cashmere sweater yet again for this outfit. But as I sit here typing this, it is currently 40 degrees celsius in Melbourne! Seriously, this city cannot make up it’s mind! A week ago it was snowing in the mountains, and now the weather man tells us we’re having a heat wave. It is no wonder I have so many clothes; how else could we keep up with this crazy weather.
Even though I’m good at complaining about the weather, it has given me a good chance to wear this teal sweater (yes, the same one you saw last time, I’m loving it) and figure out different combinations.
Poor Lola is looking extra fluffy and in need of a good haircut, but with the cold snap I’d been holding off. Now that today has us melting, we’re sitting inside, me in floaty chiffon, and her with an ice block in the water bowl. I’d planned to spend the day baking a selection of puppy cookies for her Christmas surprise, but there is no way I’m turning the oven on in this heat. So instead I’ve got a mini Santa’s workshop happening with bows, ribbons and glitter glue everywhere as I attempt to make my Christmas wrapping look extra fancy. I’ve also started yet another Pinterest board for inspiration in my Christmas wrapping and stationery love.
