Daily Outfit – To Market to Market in 1940s Style
With school holidays having only one more week remaining here, it seems I’ve spent a lot of time shopping these past few weeks. Shopping for food that is! Today is no exception as we head out to get more supplies for weekend lunches, afternoon teas and perhaps even all the makings of a good batch of scones with jam and cream.
Heading off to the grocery store and the fruit market is the day to keep your outfit simple, but no less chic. Casual 1940′s and 1950′s styles are my favourite for house chore days, so today is no exception. A pair of reproduction wide leg pants, and a cute repro cherry blouse; all tied together with splashes of my signature red, makes for a simple, easy look.
