Daily Outfit – Summer Florals Dressing
I made a new dress! Having simple, easy go to pieces for the hotter summer months, makes each morning that much easier. This year I’ve been designing, and have just started making, my own collection (just for myself), to tackle those days when they come around. Something quick to put on, easy to accessorise and perfect for work days.

Hi Candice
I love the dress, the fabric print is beautiful & the shape simple & still womanly. Nice to see we have the same taste in shoes, I own the exact same pair & I wear them constantly!

Mish: Thanks! I loved the muted brown background that makes the colours pop.
I’m so impressed with people who can sew! My year 7 fashion teacher recommended I not continue with it as I was terrible. Anyway, your dress is gorgeous and you look just lovely in it.

Lisa: I had the same thing happen in Year 7. I wasn’t very good at all, and even when I was 22 I was still stapling the hem on my bedroom curtains! Never give up, just be a stubborn so and so, and don’t let it beat you!
xx
Hello Candice,
As Lisa said, I’m too very impressed with people able to create things with their hands. I’m so bad with that, except cooking, pretty much the only field I can create with my hands, I’m so very clumsy…
I love your hair , going free in the light, very beautiful…

Nathalie: Let’s swap then. I make you a dress and you cook me a meal! Together we’d make the perfect team.
Deal! lol

That fabric is just divine. I am desperately trying to teach myself to sew as I am just too big for most vintage clothing out there and I find most reproduction stuff a bit too stretchy/clingy. I found a divine 50s shirt dress pattern in my size and you have just inspired me to do my own personal collection. What a great idea! Of course I first have to figure out how to sew properly…
Greetings from the cold north
