Thank You!

Since I started blogging back in 2007, this has been one amazing journey. I first hit publish back when I’d had my second baby and felt like an island out here on a suburban couch. I had no idea what to expect and really had very little idea what blogs really were, but quickly we found each other and I knew there was more than one Mama in the world who wanted to wear red lipstick.

Since then it has been a journey of adventure and discovery. Some of you have kept me laughing as your digital selves and others I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in person. The blog itself is a space that has kept on growing, thanks in large part to your enthusiasm and my obsession. Someone asked me the other day when I have time to think about what I’m going to post. The answer is, I never stop! In all honestly I’m always thinking of new ideas and crazy plans; from the moment I wake up until the moment I go to sleep. Sometimes I even dream about them! That may be the very definition of obsession, but it is a truly happy one for me.

These last few months have seen some major changes for me, and that’s why I wanted to thank you. For sticking with me when my posts have been a bit sporadic, and for all the amazing comments and letters I’m sent. Even a little can often make my day.

And that’s why I’m making things better. Yes, for the last six months we’ve been working away at creating a new and improved version of Super Kawaii Mama. I’ve been listening to everything you have to say and finding out what it is you’d like to be able to learn here. The things you get the biggest kick out of and the things that make you laugh.

I’m by no means finished with the whole plan, that will take about six months to gradually roll over for you, but very, very soon; you’ll check in to discover a brand new face! There’s been lots of little niggling things about this current set up I’ve been working to fix, so here’s hoping.

The other big news I have is I’m honoured to tell you I’ve been selected to work with Nuffnang as one of their Talent Bloggers! What that means is that Nuffnang recognises my blogging obsession as much as you do, and are supporting me through lots of opportunities for learning and growth. There are twelve of us across Australia that are working in this program to help mentor and support other bloggers, create amazing content as well as learn even more tech stuff that will make this place fan-freaking-tastic!
