Remember Donald Duck’s uncle Scrooge? I used to watch those cartoons when I was a kid and always dream of swimming in a big pool of money just like he did. Ducking and diving between the notes, with big golden coins flying everywhere. It still sounds good in theory, but these days my ultimate indulgence is something a bit different, because after all, no one wants a paper cut from a $50 on their butt!
I’d like my very own personal live in chef. Fancy a spot of crème brule at 2 in the morning, or have a twenty people coming for dinner at the last minute? Having a skilled chef on hand 24 / 7 would be enough to complete me. Even just fantasising about what I might do with such a talented individual is enough to make me salivate.
Perfect chef would know that my breakfast should look like this..
Then bring my morning coffee in bed..
Perfect chef could also make this devoid of any significant calories…
And have the food carving skills of Michelangelo.
It isn’t so much about which dishes they could cook me, but the simple fact that I wouldn’t have to do it myself. Because of course, being a premium chef the shopping part of the job couldn’t be left up to me either. So you see, not only would I not have to cook, I wouldn’t have to grocery shop again! It’s the gift that keeps on giving. And this is why I’m no food blogger – I love to eat, but the cooking part… meh.. I can do it I just prefer not to.
This begs the question, what is your ultimate indulgence? All the day dreaming, vision of lust that a question like this can lead to is well and good, but is that going to get you any closer to realising said indulgence? This time it just might.

My top score was 15 000, and my ultimate indulgence would be a solo trip to Paris, sans husband & children. I would stay in a gorgeous little flat with a bath (not just a shower) and eat cheese and baguettes and shop some of the beautiful vintage clothing stores, flea markets and old book stores.
A shopping spree at Agent Provocateur. I am so in love with pretty things, but I could never justify buying them for myself!
My highest score was 2,700,000. My $1000 ultimate indulgence would include a trip to the spa with my mom and little sister.
My ultimate indulgence would be a few weeks at a health retreat out in the country, taking along several really good books to read and NO computer!

My top score was 60,000 and my untimate indulgance would not be a personal chef as yours as i am lucky enought to already have this as my hubby is trained as both a chef and baker and indulges me with lots of yummy treats!
My ultimate indulgance would be a week away on a desert island with the hubby! we could spend our days sunning ourselves on the beach, swimming in cool blue waters and out nights lying in a hamock under the stars!

my $1000 indulgence would be FABULOUS new shoes, and a mani/pedi to go with them

My $1000 indulgence would be to buy a huuge 50s closet and deck it out to host all of my outfits comfortably! At the moment they’re all squished into a tiny cupboard and in boxes because I haven’t enough room for everything. Its a terrible bother to find anything. I would also install shelves into one end to display my shoes on and hooks for my hats! With any leftover I would buy a beautiful old style vanity from Vinnies and a glass atomizer for my perfume to look pretty in!

MY ultimate $1000 indulgence would be an all day styling session with you, using the rest of the money to buy clothes at your consultation that suit my figure and give me the kind timeless style that I dream about having.
I’d finish up the evening by enjoying the buffet at the langham hotel . Because I cannot say no to a five star buffet (however my wallet can).

My ultimate $1000 indulgence would be Creative Suite 5 so I could have a legit version of Photoshop to create digital paintings on when I graduate university at the end of the month ^.^;; It may not seem especially indulgent but painting is my favorite way to spend the day. I can always work while giving myself a facial masque and giving my feet a salt soak

My ultimate indulgence would be an utterly lavish Christmas. I would gather my loved ones and convey everyone via train north to Vancouver, where we would stay in a sweet little rented chateau overlooking the sea. There would be a lovely tall bushy tree, decorated all with ribbons and tassels and lights, under which is a large mound of perfectly wrapped presents in pretty hatboxes done up with bows. Each present is simple, wonderful, and perfectly suited to her recipient, courtesy of a personal shopper. We sit round the roaring fire with (highly underrated!) Washington wine, imported Belgian drinking chocolate, and argue about who gets to cook Christmas dinner. We will eat and laugh and sing carols and never, ever forget it.

My day of indulgence might look a little different to everyone else’s – or even to mine 6 months ago!
In June I was walking to work when a car ran a red light and hit me as I crossed with the green man. So after 6 months of pain-induced inactivity (broken collarbone that needed pins and a plate/nerve damage in my leg – very lucky considering!), I’d start by hitting the gym!
I’d do a few group fitness classes – all the ones that include running, jumping and ESPECIALLY bad dancing!
After that, (and doing my OWN hair – can’t hold the dryer and brush at the same time right now!) I’d stroll around the city, wearing my favourite bag over my shoulder (a no-no with a broken collarbone) meet some friends for lunch (without worrying about how the pain will affect my mood). And finally, of course, I’d hit the shops, but HARD.
…OK, so maybe the last half of the day wouldn’t be THAT different to everyone else’s!

I am currently on maternity leave with my first baby so at the moment my ultimate indulgence would be a day all about me! A day of shopping for new clothes all for me, lunch in a nice restaurant with plenty of wine and then some pampering in the form of a mani & maybe a facial.

My beautiful partner and I are coming up to our three year anniversary. Three years and not so much as even a night away in a bed and breakfast, and I am itching for a holiday.
So, my ultimate indulgence would be booking a nice room with a spa bath in the Yarra Valley for a long weekend. Spending a few relaxing days going horse riding, sampling the lovely wines in the district and just being with one another away from the hustle and bustle of our every day lives.. Somewhere that does breakfast, and dessert, in bed

I would Indulge in some ‘me’ shopping which rarely ever happens when you are a single mum with 5 children. Maybe I could get my hair done for the first time in years, or buy myself some nice clothes. Maybe I won’t look as daggy when I drop the kids at school and they don’t want anyone to see me with them. I could also get the kids something nice for Christmas so I get the joy of seeing smiles on Christmas morning and they can enjoy telling their friends what they got from Santa instead of feeling ashamed.
