The MSFW Vintage Glamour Workshops

It was a great turn out this week to my first Melbourne Spring Fashion Week sessions on Vintage Glamour. The weather held back its dark clouds and although it was the coldest first day of Spring in twenty three years, we still managed to feel sunny on the inside.
I was fortunate to have three lovely friends on hand to photograph the days for me, so today’s post is photo heavy as I give you an inside look at my MSFW Vintage Glamour Extravaganza!

Many guests wanted to know about the various garments I displayed as a part of the presentation, so I’ve put together a brief source list to help you out.
- Waist Cinchers – Custom made to order right here in Australia at Vintage Charm by Kim
- Vintage styled lingerie with serious suspender clips – Kiss Me Deadly. Locally stocked by Circa Vintage Clothing
- Beautiful sleepwear and gowns – Samantha Sultana
- Floral headpieces (as worn on Tuesday)- Samantha Sultana
- First class vintage pieces as worn by the models and displayed in the cases – Circa Vintage Clothing in Melbourne
The good news is that more workshops are currently being tabled for the near future in Sydney so stay tuned for details! In the meantime, if you’d like to book me for any workshops, events, one-on-one advice or even classic pin up work; check out the Official Candice DeVille Website!

Yay! That was so much fun. Congratulations on the great days
xxx
Thanks once again for putting in all the time and effort to get the workshops off the ground. It was so much fun and very informative. Well done!
Gosh I had so much fun! The photos are really amazing – Everyone looks just so fabulous
Really hope you’re able to do more talks and workshops like these to clear up some myths about wearing real vintage.
Oh damn, my last comment got lost in internet limbo…
But I wanted to say how jealous I am with the reader with that glorious rabbit coat, I do want to steal it!
It looks like you did a fabulous job! I would love if you would do a similar workshop in Sydney – I would be there with bells and whistles on! Well, probably not bells and whistles, but you get the gist. (Also, if you needed a hand, I would happy to volunteer myself!)
Wild Tea Party: Yes, I’ll be there in Sydney for the 17th October..Just publishing details for it shortly and will link it from the side bar on the blog.
Yay! I can’t wait. I assume that’s to coincide with the Love Vintage fair (which I also can’t wait for
)
Wow y’all look so beautiful, looks like a fun time was had by all xoxo
Looks like so much fun – even your assistant is stunning! Thanks for sharing your great time with us!
Oh I wish I had been there!
What a great show, your assistant looks like a young Joan Holloway, I’m exceedingly jealous of her flame red hair!
I wish I lived in Melbourne or Sydney so I could be there to see all the vintage goodness in the flesh.
You do such a great job of promoting a vintage glamorous lifestyle, thankyou!
Kristy: Doesn’t she just! Her outfit was fantastic.
Where do you live btw? I’m taking this show on the road lots in the next 6 months.
I live in Launceston Tasmania – missed your Hobart Lindy Charm School show as its a 5hr return drive and I was bogged down with uni assignments
. Shall be in Brisbane in January for the month, any plans to head north again?
Fantastic … and wonderful photos…thanks for sharing (-;
