Dear SKM
Obviously I would love to attend a style session with one of my vintage style icons (that’s you!). But also would like to revamp my look a bit as I find my vintage style can sometimes look like a costume. Hope to see you soon! Vintage Suburbia x
After reading the article featuring you in the Sunday Magazine, I’m inspired to write a new book…featuring a heroine who adores all things retro!
I haven’t been this excited about a book in a long time and can’t wait to start it and fill it with a real size lush heroine who adores vintage clothes, pin curls and red lipstick.
Now, if only I could get some real life tips for myself too…this style session would be perfect!
I’m so thrilled to have discovered your blog. It’s going to be a godsend for my research so thank you!
Nicola
Umm YES this would be the BEST THING EVER to win! It would maybe give me direction in my endless hours scouring eBay for THE perfect dress – of which I find way too many. Please teach me to be more discriminate and how to spread my funds towards things OTHER than dresses
Thank youuuuu ;-D
This looks so much fun and I need so much help!
I’ll come SKM!
Well other than the fact that I’d be the perfect date
I’d just adore to hear everything and learn some new tips etc for looking divine!
Hi S.K. Mama,
It’s been a deathly cold winter and I’m in such a rut. My fashion sense has stalled and my blog has been neglected!
To be your date for an afternoon of professional styling would be the perfect solution. Not only will I be able to remedy my fashion faux pas, I’ll be able to get a boost of blogging inspiration from one of my favourite bloggers.
I’m so happy to be given the opportunity to enter a fabulous competition. Thanks so much!
I would love to come! I’m at uni and just starting an internship and I would love to know how to stay glamourous while still dressing for the job!
ooh yes please! I would love to attend
Emi
Dear SKM,
I’d love to come, mainly because I want to justify all of the hours spent looking up wonderful vintage blogs at work, and to revamp the daily outfits I wear to try and brighten up all of the dreary days as a glorified secretary!
I’d like to think that an afternoon spent in the presence of the ‘Oscar Wilde of our time’ (dapper, alluring, witty and damned charismatic), would be a present not just for me, but for our whole work place, as dressing well surely rubs off on those around us!
Thanks too for your great blog, which has sparked many a vintage-secretary inspired fashion moment.
k.
Hi SKM
I would love to attend with you to get some vintage fashion inspiration – particularly now that I’m pregnant and don’t want to be all fat and frumpy as my belly gets bigger!
Joyce aka Miss CycleStyle
Dear SKM,
Well where do I start? Umm well I have never been to any fashion thing ever. So my knowledge of what goes on at these things is limited to what you have written.
I would love to come with you and learn what does happen at a fashion show but also to prove to my teen daughter that vintage can be fashionable as well as whats “fashionable” in her eyes. I had asked her if she would like to go to the Lindy Charm School with me and her response was what would I want to learn all that for.
There is hope however with this teen girl she likes to dress up for the ballet wear her heels, stockings, girdle hair done up nice.
So I would love to come and learn about fashion shows at the foot of the Master oops Mistress of style.
xx
