Love your work MissSKM! Anyway, just a quick reply to this post… My first ever on someones website… how bout that! Anyway, Emmanual Dakis, tailor on Chapel St is amazing. I’ve been taking all of my vintage collection to him for repairs, but he also does tailoring, and I’ve never found anyone as skilled with a needle as he is. If you’ve got repairs that are unrepairable, he’s your man. Customer service is a little on the patchy side to be perfectly honest, but the man is such a magician he’s worth it. He’s not cheap, but worth it.
He’s on the same side as Chapel St Bazaar a block or two away, heading towards St Kilda.

Such a gorgeous dress! And the colour suits you beautifully Very glamorous. Do let us know how you go with making a pattern (or having one made) – I’ve got a couple of vintage dresses that I would love recreated and need to find a decent tailor as I don’t have the sewing skills myself.
