News Flash – Candice DeVille Gives in to Public Pressure!
Okay… that may sound a tad dramatic for a headline, but I’m pretty excited to announce my new ‘arm’ is it were.
You already know that I work as a vintage model, do workshops here and there in amongst everything else; but the big news is that finally I can tell you that I am now offering my services as a Specialist Vintage Hair and Makeup Artist!
.
.
Every week I’ve been getting loads of emails asking for advice on these topics, both from those who want advice on where to go for help, through to individuals looking to create their own look. And while I can’t always help everyone, I do my best. The response to my video tutorials (however crappy their production values are) has been astounding, and so I decided to take it to the next level.
So here is the scoop – Whether you need someone to help you with professional shoots, film, television or even personal lessons; I am now available. And just what does Specialist Vintage Hair and Makeup mean? Well, it means that I specialise in creating authentic looks from the 1920′s – 1970′s in both hair and makeup. Yes, I can use modern techniques to achieve these, but I most often use the old school ways to achieve the best look. One of the benefits for you, my readers, is that as more of my clients allow me to use their pictures for the website, I can show you how so many of these styles work on hair of different lengths and thickness to my own.
I’ll still be producing my video tutorials, in fact I’m hoping to do loads more. (There are currently loads sitting on my hard drive waiting for a friend to edit who doesn’t have crappy software like mine that keeps crashing!)
So check it out and pass on the word – I’m officially open and giving you my glamorous best!

Just my luck to be on the wrong continent!
Fran: You never know… I do travel quite a bit and I’ll make sure to let people know whenever I’m coming to town.
Oh… You make me wish my
hair was longer so I could ‘do’
it!
good luck and congratulations:) If we can make it over the internet, I’m a cinema graduate and can help you with the videos. Just say the world:)
Way to go!!!
If you EVER travel to Chicago, Illinois, USA, I would love to enlist your services — especially in the hair department. I have baby fine hair that doesn’t like to cooperate. I can really benefit from some fabulous style coaching and expertise.
Seriously, CONGRATS to you!!! I wish you unlimited success.
Melissa: I’ve never been there, but it counds like something one must do. Perhaps you could petition Oprah to have me on?
Ambassador for Glamour! Love it!
Congratulations on your new endeavour, may it be a smashing success!
I’m echoing Fran, why oh why am I on the wrong continent?

My hair in texture isn’t dissimilar to your own, but it’s long….It poses unique problems…
Wild Tea Part: I’m often in Sydney and happy to take bookings there too. So if you need me…
That’d be excellent. Next time you’re in Sydney I’ll make a time.
