Hold onto your hats friends, because today’s hair tutorial is a never before attempted feat of daring!
Two of my blogging buddies (who are also well known for creating fun and interesting tutorials) and I were having a little chat one evening when we came up with this idea. It went something like this, “Hi Violet, Hi Cheesie. You know how much we love doing awesome hair tutorials? Well how about we try this?”
It is a simple and fun hair do you’ve seen me wear an casual days and asked for a tutorial on. It’s also one you can customise to your own style.
Enjoy!

Cute!! Ooh I want long hair again now, and dyed like Violet’s!
That would have to be probably the cutestand girliest thing I have seen on your blog SKM!!!
Please please please do more of these tutorials!!!!!!! That was such a pleasure to watch! Also, what music was playing in the background?? It sounded so cute.
Anyways, keep up the good work SKM!!
Very sweet and very fun to watch! I’ll have to give that a try. I’ve always loved those big puffy buns–I just never realized that back combing was the way to get the effect!
Amber: The secret is out!
Ella: Hehehe.. it was extra girly. The music was by The Cherry Poppin Daddies – you’ll see it listed int he credits.
Harbour Master: It is a colour creation the likes of which I have never seen before!
Love the videos you make, very inspiring. This one is adorable, I love the brady bunch theme at the begining.

Ok, that was completely adorable! I might have to give it a go!
What a great idea! Love it
I love this 3-person video! Please do more!
Excellent! Never realised you needed so much back combing to get the puffy effect. D’Oh! Will definitely be trying this one.
Floraposte: I had to skip the teasing cause my hair is so thick!
Isn’t it fun?! Makes doing your hair a game.
Kelly: You betcha!
Vicky: It was so fun and Violet did and awesome editing job.
Birdie: Do- it is so fast, easy and looks really impressive.
Dalra:
Oh so glad my hair is FINALLY getting longer
I’ll be able to watch all these hair tutorials and actually do them
This was adorable! Love it!
You guys all looked so cute together, and the Cherry Poppin’ Daddies song has left me dancing in my computer chair.
Cuuute! Pretty sure I’m doing to try this the next time I have a day off work.
That was not only girl, fun but also chic and utterly freak’n fabulous. Can’t wait to see more.. loved the Brady Bunch scene..
Just precious! So much fun to watch and all three of you looked so lovely.
So much fun! I’m needing a slight trim to my hair, so I’ve been wearing it up and tucked in alot until I go to the hairdressers… this gives me a new idea to play with, thankies!
On a semi-related note, I was at a job interview the other day, I wore my hair in that similar style as your “Chic & Simple”, with a big black rose and my trusty chopsticks, and oh! the comments and ohs and ahhs
It makes me sad that most people these days don’t bother styling and experiementing past highlights, but that day it worked in my favour!
Standing out from the other potential employees is always good, no matter the reason!
