Sezzie: Actually I hadn’t thought of doing a tutorial on these… I guess mainly because everyone’s skills are different and I wouldn’t know how to cater to all the levels. They also take a bit of tailoring knowledge to get the fit just right as they are deceptively fitted. I’ll have a think if I can do it and the best way to make it work.

Hi! I love these trousers/pants! Have you thought of doing a tutorial on making them on your youtube channel? Im subscribed and I find your tutorials great! I would love to make these but I have little experience at sewing! Carry on the great work! I love to stop by and get inspiration from your daily outfits!

With waist length curly, jet hair I was feeling very uninspired – then I chanced upon your glorious vids on youtube and wanted to thank you for the inspiration!

I work in a small hair salon and our older clientele have never been more complimentary! Not to mention they’re handing out super vintage hair tips. Some have even bought in photos of themselves with similar dos – it has been lovely reconnecting with them all over again!

Well after gazing longingly at your trousers, I took the leap last night and made my first pair of 2990′s. They’re fantastic and so quick and easy. I only spent 2 hours on them last night and I’m wearing them today. Brilliant!

What a great project! It’s so difficult to be casual but not slobby, esp in the heat. The blue is super pretty.

Could I put in a request for some closeups of the shoes? I’m far to clumsy for heels but can’t wear flats either because they kill my legs. I’d love some inspiration for alternatives.

This is how casual should be for sure. No horrible track pants and Havs *shudder*. Proof that you can look good AND be comfortable.

Now that is how to do casual without sacrificing on iota of glamour!
Casual without sloppy (or the ubiquitous jeans) is a lost art, but it looks like you are well on the way to rediscovering it!
