So you’ve noticed my programming schedule has been a little off of late? Well you can blame that squarely on Melbourne’s fabulous fashion scene and my inability to clone myself. But it is well worth the late nights and pre-packaged meals that have been making it possible. I kicked off Fashion Week at Fashion Haley’s exhibition of photos for Melbourne Street Fashion.  She has such an excellent eye for a good shot and is a brilliant stylist to boot. Knowing that the crowd would contain the hipest of the hip, I dug out a little black on black 1940’s cocktail number.  Turns out that was a good call!

Last night I was privileged to attend the Madam Virtue show along with the fabulous Bryan Boy, my darling Imelda (the Despotic Queen of Shoes) and Fashion Haley to name but a few of the fashionable friends in the crowd.  And what a show! I’m saving the shots of the show for you for another day (I’m no fashion photographer but it still deserves its own post), but I have to say that as the first outfit came out I could feel my wallet trying to claw its way out of my bag and sacrifice itself at the feet of the models! In the meantime, here’s a look at some of the fabulous fashion pack in attendance.
