I’ve been all enthused this week. I get a bee in my bonnet about certain things and just can’t let it go. Then it becomes and all consuming obsession, as you saw earlier in the week, that turns into me wearing a blue sequined sweat shirt – should I have managed to get my hands on one! Such is the delight and hazard of blogging for a living; I can never think of something I don’t want next.
So this weekend I plan to indulge some of my fantasies and play dress ups!
Give myself a DIY manicure that is completely impractical but totally gorgeous!
Decorate a box for Miss 4 to keep all her hair things in and keep them out of my fruit bowl!
Use exclamation marks in a gratuitous manner!
Go present shopping for Miss 4′s upcoming birthday. I’ve been asked for a Nintendo DS, new bike, iPod, mobile phone and a unicorn pony with wings. An old fat pony with a stick on horn and wings looks more likely!
Finish reading my book while drinking hot chocolate full of raspberry pink marshmallows
Beg, borrow or make a pair of these!

I would definitely go the unicorn. I never got one for my birthday and it’s pretty much left me an empty husk since…
I also approve totally of the manicure idea, I’m in the midst of exam study for uni and I need something to perk me up whilst I’m doing it so I’ve got one booked. Something crazy from Chinatown hopefully. I want rhinestones and colours and overkill!
xx
Yay for excessive exclaiming!!!!!!!!!!
Do they start asking for stuff for their Bday’s at 4? Mine is 3 and she is still clueless….It makes shopping sooo much easier!
An ipod and a mobile phone?!
Gosh I feel old. When I was 4 I think my wishlist was just strawberry shortcake dolls, sweets and dollhouse furniture!!
Must be hard being a little kid these days with the older ones getting to have all the cool stuff. It seems children grow up faster and faster with each passing year.
In defense of Miss 4, hair things look absolutely pretty in a fruit bowl. Something about the glass makes the hair things more sparkly and fun to look at.
All things gravitate towards the fruit bowl in the end it is sort of a domestic black hole I find. There is nothing better than a manicure for relaxing (self-administered that is can’t be having with a manicurist trying to file the points off my nails!)! I am trying to support you on the exclamation mark quota!!!
Floraposte: In the end, after a fashion show casualty, I had to chop all the nails off, so I went with hardcore glitter for effect. And what the hell is it with fruit bowls? Must be the same principle as the socks that disappear in the washing machine.
Meream: You are completely right as my fruit bowl is pink cut glass!
Elaine: Watch out!
Lauren: I’ll have to find a Pony hire man that will let me dress up his stock.. Let’s see how I go.
ASAB: Definitely NO phone for her! Tempted by the DS though in the hopes that I can train her to be the next tech whizz kid… and the first seriously stylish one!
EEee those shoe bows are awesome! And that website is a very odd mix of cute and weird. Hehe
Esz: Did you see the rest of the site? It is Alannah Hill on acid! I love it!
Is Miss 4 4 or 14?!!
Get the unicorn thingy, all the other stuff can wait….
What a delightful weekend you’ve had for yourself my dear. I’m so sorry that I have been somewhat absent from your Blog; but my computer has been on hiatus until recently.
I love that revolver from the Tokyo look book; and I think that you really need a pair of those sexy shoes ASAP.
Xx
Grant: Yes, I sure do need those shoes and that pistol is just to die for! Ha! Good to see you back.
Sharon: Well according to her regular attitude I’d say she is about 16!
