It is Good Friday here today. The beginning of an Easter weekend filled with sleep ins, friends and too much food. And I have been looking forward to this for a while.
This time, I’m trying not to plan too much and just wait and see what the break brings. There of a few treats lined up, but sometimes it is just nice to still be sitting in your dressing gown at 11.30 in the morning (ahem), and not feel the pressure of places to be or things to do. Such is the beauty of my Easter weekend.
Eat chocolate to my hearts content and not put on a pound. Okay – this one might have to go onto the highly unlikely list.
A final Easter lunch with my brother before he disappears overseas for a year. It is going to be very strange without him.
Showing Miss Four the joys of old Shirley Temple movies.
Setting up a winter time outdoor area on my balcony to enjoy hot coffee on cold mornings and watch all the birds. We have so many amazing native birds in our garden, Rozellas and Rainbow Lorekeets to name a few. They can be noisy, but they are so beautiful.
Next week you can look forward to more MAD MEN style secrets, a look at my everyday handbag collection and some more Daily Outfits. Don’t forget to check out the MAD MEN Competition either. The entries have been coming thick and fast, and boy are they something else! Some of the chaps are so stylish, you won’t believe your eyes.
I won’t disappear completely over Easter, in fact I’m almost always here! You can follow my updates on Twitter and my photos on Flickr. And once again, I have some Links a La Mode for your reading pleasure.

Tiki Doll: Trance energy = fun!
Kayleigh: Yep, it is chilly and rainy. Orange leaves and if we’re lucky, open fires. One of the reasons that the chocolate is so popular!
Happy Easter! So Easter in Australia means autumn instead of spring? If so, consider my mind blown.
