Time for another Daily Outfit. I headed out today for a rare lunch date with a friend and took advantage of the cooler, but sunny autumn weather. I’m still trying to take these outfit shots in different locations for you, as always seeing my front porch can get a bit boring. On the way home from my date I had a location brain wave and popped into the local Catholic School, (it is holidays here) and snuck a few photos on their steps before the groundskeeper started to get curious.
Outfit Details: Top – Ann Taylor, Skirt – Cue, Stockings – Johnathon Aston, Shoes – Wittner, Watch – Guess, Brooch – Handmade by some clever clogs and a gift from my brother, hair slide – Red are the Roses on Etsy.

Oh, I’m so in love with this outfit! And I’m falling for the choice of hosiery. It adds, such a sophistication. Especially with the shoes.
Fluff: The stockings are a lovely woolen pattern,so they add that extra warmth you need on cold mornings.
well I can only hope it is working… with Easter on the door step I may have to step it up a notch next week to recover!

More skirt love! It’s a wonderful cut and has a lovely sheen. In the first, full-body shot, I thought it was black leather. That would be cool, too.

Jaede: Thank you! All these sweet comments are making me feel a million dollars as was feeling a bit of an Easter lump this morning after too many eggs and hot cross buns.
Rockabilly goat: I use a tiny portable tripod and a remote control with a little five year old happy snap digital camera. I usually have no more than five minutes to shoot them, so most of the end result just comes down to practice. But thank you – I’ve really worked on improving my skills for the blog to make it more interesting.
Kasmira: It is actually taffeta, a sort of deep bronze colour with a fine blue pin stripe.
Shannon: I think that is one of my favorite things about winter fashion as it is such a cheap and effective way to change a look.

Tizz: It is fun finding different places, but I have to get in quick before I am “moved on” at times.
of tea cups and frocks: I bought them last winter and they quickly became a staple piece. They are so comfortable and work with loads of looks. Perfect really. They are called “Pip” by Wittner, and they have released them again this winter in either matt (like these) or patent leather.

I don’t think the shoes do you justice. They cut you off at the ankle and make your calves look bigger than I’m sure they probably are. Fashion rules 101
