What a cracker of a weekend! There were a few things in the plan that didn’t quite make it,but those that did were fantastic. I don’t usually give you a post mortum of my weekend, but just for something different, I thought I’d give you a peak into life as I know it.

Sake with my Bro.
My brother and his girlfriend are about to head of for the big overseas odyssey, so getting in as many drinks and Japanese food is high on the agenda.

Men's Pocky. If I have boobs can I still eat this?

Kids parties - Not what they used to be!
Miss Four went to a party. We planned on cake and fairy bread, we got snakes! Seriously awesome, that’s kid’s parties in Australia for you.

Spangles and Shadows
Caught the fabulous Highball Burlesque for a saucy way to end the weekend.

Hanging out with the delicious Dolores Daiquiri of Highball Burlesque.
Never a dull moment, I may not have baked or accessorised the couch with a seasonal throw, but a surprise package like this is not to be missed for muffins!

I love those Pocky things.
what a fun weekend you had! love the black and red dress! how do you find the energy to do things on the weekends? I find myself so pooped from the work week that all I want to do is catch up on my sleep, fav tv shows, and just do relaxing things. I always have high hopes of weekend plans on monday/tuesday, but by Friday I’m thinking “I’m too tired!” Need to work on changing that!
Talk about action packed! I didn’t do half the number of things you did and I’m exhausted just reading about it!
Thanks for sharing
xx VV
Sounds like an awesome weekend!
Looks like an utterly fabulous weekend.
Love the burlesque! I’m thinking of taking a burlesque course ’round the corner from where we live.
Ok, your brother is adorable. I had to say it!
Gladis: Yes, there are two of the handsome devils too!
Docwitch: The perfect way to exercise AND get a new career!
VV: Action packed for sure. I hit the sack by 9pm last night!
Magicofreiki: I used to do that, but you find yourself becoming too insular and your world gets smaller and smaller. So even though it may take a bit of effort at first, it is very much worth it. I also find that surrounding myself with such fabulous people helps to keep me inspired and enthusiastic for the week to come.
Wendy B: They a very popular at my house too.
